Mission
The United States Navy and Marine Corps operate over water for thousands of hours every day. The Air Force, Coast Guard, Army, and allied services do the same. When an aircraft is lost over open water, survival depends on three things: exposure, injury, and access to potable water. The equipment in a survival kit is the only variable an aircrew can control.
Pecan Grove Defense exists to make that equipment better. We engineer low-power, low-mass, mechanically simple survival systems designed for the contested operating environments the U.S. military increasingly faces. We do it from Texas, with U.S.-sourced materials, in partnership with leading American research institutions.
